Golder Ranch Fire District offers both educational presentations and community appearances throughout our jurisdiction. While both provide valuable opportunities to connect with the community, they serve different purposes.

Educational presentations are interactive, instructor-led programs that provide fire and life safety education tailored to the audience. Children learn essential safety skills such as how to call 9-1-1, create a home fire escape plan, and practice water safety. Teens and adults can participate in presentations covering topics such as CPR, first aid, emergency preparedness, fire safety, fall prevention, and other life safety topics.

Community appearances are designed to support public events and strengthen community connections. Depending on operational availability, firefighters may attend with a fire engine or other apparatus at events such as holiday celebrations, parades, community festivals, school events, and other special occasions. These appearances give attendees the opportunity to see the apparatus, meet firefighters, and interact with personnel in an informal setting. Community appearances are intended for public relations and community engagement but do not include a formal fire and life safety presentation.

* Scheduling Guidelines:

To help us accommodate as many requests as possible while maintaining emergency response readiness, please review the following scheduling guidelines before submitting your request:

* Please submit all requests at least two weeks in advance.
* Requests are generally limited to one hour. Exceptions may be considered for high-impact or special circumstances.
* Events are generally scheduled between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday- Thursday. Exceptions may be considered for high-impact or special circumstances.
* Please note, crews and apparatus may arrive late, leave early, or cancel without notice due to emergency call volume.
* Availability for major holidays and other high-demand dates depends on staffing and the number of requests received.
* Golder Ranch Fire District does not participate in taste-testing or activities involving the consumption of food or beverages.
* Birthday visits and drive-by appearances may be accommodated at the District’s discretion based on staffing and emergency call volume.
* Homeowners Association (HOA) presentations require a minimum of 30 residents and are limited to two presentations per HOA each year.
