Ride-Along Program
The Golder Ranch Fire District (GRFD) invites community members aged 18 and older to experience a firsthand look at the essential services we provide through our Ride-Along
Program. This unique opportunity allows you to join our on-duty emergency crews, giving you an in-depth understanding of what it’s like to serve the community as a firefighter and emergency medical responder.
What to Expect:
Participants will have the chance to accompany our teams in responding to emergency calls, riding along in a fire truck or command vehicle. You’ll observe real-life operations, including how we handle different emergency situations, from fires to medical emergencies.
- Physical Readiness: Riders must be physically capable of quickly boarding fire apparatus during emergency responses.
- Weather Considerations: As part of the program, you may spend extended periods outside in varying Arizona weather conditions.
