Ride-Along Program

Golder Ranch Fire District welcomes community members aged 18 and older to gain an inside look at the vital services we provide through our Ride-Along Program. This unique experience lets you join our on-duty emergency crews and see firsthand what it’s like to serve the community as a firefighter and emergency medical responder.

Ride-along opportunities can be scheduled Monday through Saturday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

What to Expect:

Participants will have the chance to accompany our teams in responding to emergency calls, riding along in a fire truck or command vehicle. You’ll observe real-life operations, including how we handle different emergency situations, from fires to medical emergencies.
  • Physical Readiness: Riders must be physically capable of quickly boarding fire apparatus during emergency responses.

  • Weather Considerations: As part of the program, you may spend extended periods outside in varying Arizona weather conditions.
