The Golder Ranch Fire District does not interact with homeowners’ insurance on behalf of the residents. Insurance rates are determined by private companies, and we do not control policy costs or coverage decisions. We can provide residents with a Wildland-Urban Interface Code Fire Hazard Severity form . We also recommend consulting a qualified risk assessor or insurance provider for further evaluation. For concerns about policy changes or cancellations, contact the Arizona Department of Insurance: https://difi.az.gov/consumers/help-problem/filing-complaint .
Yes, all Golder Ranch Fire District Fire Stations offer free blood pressure screenings between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM. As these are working facilities, personnel may be absent from the station.
Yes! Please go to our car seat safety page and fill out the form for assistance. Car seat installations are done at our Training facility, and we need an appointment made in advance. We cannot typically accommodate these on the day of the request. As an alternative, please consider reaching out to our partners at the Oro Valley Police Department or Pima County Sheriffs Department.

Golder Ranch Fire District is funded through your property tax so there is no need to send separate payment for services. If you are transported to the hospital via ambulance, we will work with the patient and their family to bill the appropriate medical insurance provider.

Yes! We welcome you to visit any of our 10 fire stations. They are your stations after all. Use this link to request a tour and a member of our staff will contact you to confirm your visit.

Yes! We want to engage our community members at community events so that we get to know one another and can provide our residents and business owners an opportunity to ask us questions and learn more about the services we provide. As our first priority is maintaining coverage for emergency events, we may not always be able to accommodate having a fire crew attend, but we have both community education and community relations staff to fill these requests. We also offer programming to school children to help them understand how to stay safe. Use the links below to request our attendance at an event or in a classroom.

Every fire engine has 4 firefighters and three of them are emergency medical technicians and one is a paramedic. This means that the fire truck responding to a medical emergency can expedite early interventions by pre-hospital emergency medical providers and therefore, assist in the mitigation of the emergency. Simply stated, the only limitation the fire engine has is that it can’t transport the patient.

We want you to get help fast and the best way to accomplish that is to call 911 and use that system to request help be sent to your location. A fire station is a dynamic environment so if you go to a station, you may find that no one is there and therefore, medical attention is delayed for your emergency.
