REACH Key and Knox Box
Why do you need a key to my business, and how important is this requirement?
IFC 506.2 requires you to provide a key to your business, that we secure on the premises, for use by responding firefighters. This helps us to avoid any delay in entering the building, for a medical or fire emergency.
Without a key, we will have to force entry, which will cause damage and delay.
The key you provide us will be secured in the on-site lock box that only emergency responders can access.
Anytime you change your lock or re-key your business, please contact us in order to change the key in the box.
