REACH Fire Extinguisher Check

You need to ensure that your extinguisher pressure gauge is indicating the correct pressure. It is very important that the needle is within the green range. If not, it should be serviced immediately

Make sure the hose is securely attached, not showing signs of cracking or deterioration, and the cylinder itself is not deformed or showing signs of any powder leakage on the surface or top.

Make sure your fire extinguisher has a current (less than one year) inspection tag. If it doesn’t, you can use the Fire Systems contractors list to find a qualified contractor to complete the extinguisher inspection.
