Golder Ranch Fire District employs one full time Facilities Maintenance Technician to perform repairs and preventive maintenance on 11 buildings.

The facilities department additionally performs implementation, tracking and execution of our preventive maintenance program. Examples for some of these systems are HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Mechanical, Structural, Grounds Watering, Fire Protection Systems, and building generators.
Facilities maintenance also directs the activities contractors that may need to be called in for large or specialty assignments, required testing and certification of required systems.
The Fleet Maintenance Division is staffed by a Fleet Manager, and (3) Mechanics. The division is responsible for the purchase and maintenance of all vehicles operated by Golder Ranch Fire District. The Fleet technical staff holds certifications in the following areas

It is Fleet Service’s responsibility to recommend and furnish functional, reliable and economical vehicles necessary District operations, write the necessary specifications for bidding purposes, Purchasing, and to prepare and administer the annual fleet budget.
