Community Education

IMG_1887The Golder Ranch Fire District offers many community education programs. Classes such as First Aid, CPR, are scheduled throughout the year. For more information about our monthly classes, please call 520-825-5920.

While classes are primarily offered at our training facility, we routinely schedule classes at offsite locations to meet your needs. In addition to these programs, we also offer educational opportunities in fire extinguisher instruction, desert creature awareness and safety, emergency and disaster safety training and home safety assessments.

Golder Ranch Fire District also offers speakers for your group. We can do presentations on topics  fullsizeoutput_38a6that relate to fire and life safety, emergency and disaster preparedness, Compression-Only CPR or a variety of other safety topics. Have a particular topic in mind? Just speak with our Public Educator and we can make arrangements to talk on that topic.

Public Events

Golder Ranch Fire District is proud to be involved in the communities we serve. Chances are, you MVFD Riverside2500have seen our personnel and apparatus at a variety of events from the Catalina Heritage Days event to the Oro Valley Holiday Parade.

For events such as these, we are able to provide a variety of services from dedicated fire and medical stand-by’s to apparatus displays and demonstrations. If you or your organization is need of an emergency service stand-by, would like a crew to come by for a career day, or attend any other special event, please fill out the form below.
