Golder Ranch Fire District is proud to be involved in the communities we serve. Chances are, you have seen our personnel and apparatus at a variety of events from the Catalina Heritage Days event to the Oro Valley Holiday Parade.
For events such as these, we are able to provide a variety of services from dedicated fire and medical stand-by’s to apparatus displays and demonstrations. If you or your organization is need of an emergency service stand-by, would like a crew to come by for a career day, or attend any other special event, contact us at 520-825-9001.
Golder Ranch Fire District Honor Guard
Founded and Commanded by Engineer Robert Russo, the Golder Ranch Fire District Honor Guard is comprised of line personnel ranging from Captains to Firefighters. Our seven person team is recognized for our excellence in the state for Honor Guard teams, and has been featured at the International Association of Fire Fighters annual Fallen Firefighters Memorial, posted the colors at the 2011 Major League Baseball All-Star Game, and participated in several community events.
The services we are able to provide include posting the colors, flag raises, and funeral ceremonies. Given the make-up and size of our team, we require 30 days notice ahead of your event to schedule our personnel. If you would like to request our attendance at an event, please contact Honor Guard Commander Robert Russo via email at firstname.lastname@example.org. If your request is for a funeral, please submit your request as soon as possible and we will get back to immediately.
